So I really want to go to A&M, but I've never visited and people keep trying to scare me by saying all there is to do is go cow-tipping. What kind of stuff is there to do around college station??

I’ve got good news for you guys! College Station is a regular old town! That means we’ve got movie theaters, a mall, parks, gyms, stores, bars, dance clubs, concerts, events, and everything a normal town has! We are not a school in the middle of nowhere, we are just a city in the middle of nowhere!

And, we are within a couple of hours of Houston, and Austin, so a bunch of people go to concerts and things there on weekends.

Plus, being in college means there are lots of college-related things to do: hanging out with organizations, really awesome community service, study groups, on-campus events.

If you’re still worried, message me again, and I’m sure some other Ags will also contribute to the conversation. There’s plenty of stuff to do in C-Stat and Bryan, and I can honestly say that in the time I’ve been here, no one I know has ever gone cow-tipping!

What do y’all think? Is there anything do do around C-Stat that I haven’t mentioned?

There's a spirit that can ne'er be told. And it sticks with you forever.
